SMH10R Low Profile Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset & Intercom
This ultra-thin headset—which is slightly thicker than a U.S. quarter—offers an aerodynamic look and feel with all the great features that Sena products are known for. With the SMH10R headset, riders can enjoy hands-free communication with each other for up to 900 metres (in open terrain).

Sena SMH10 Snowmobile Bluetooth Headset & Intercom review
After riding with the SMH10, I could not go back to yelling and making hand signals to get the attention of my partner. And if either of us gets stuck or winds up in a sketchy situation—which we both have—we can let each other know that we need help as well as reassure the other one of our safety.

Bluetooth Technology Provider of the Year: Sena
Sena has worked hard to bring new products to market that address broad-based consumer requirements and with the SM10, Sena has provided an extremely cost-effective audio-sharing solution for on-board audio systems.

Sena's SMH10 universal Bluetooth helmet intercom
I'll admit I wasn't looking forward to testing another Bluetooth helmet system. In the past they've proven clunky, unintuitive and annoying. But the Sena SMH10, which clips on to most helmets in a minute or two, has changed my view on these devices. The SMH10 is simple to use, relatively cheap and it adds a whole new dimension to the otherwise antisocial sport of motorcycling.

Sena SM10 Review
The Sena SM10 Dual Stream Bluetooth Stereo Transmitter is a timely and cost effective solution that allows both a rider and passenger to share audio from connected devices. This includes portable music players, navigation and radar warning devices and even wired motorcycle sound systems.
Basically anything that has a physical (wired) audio output or headset jack can now be shared by both the rider and passenger.

Sena SMH5 Bluetooth Intercom Headset
The Bluetooth that Sena are so keen to mention allows the system to be wireless, not just between rider and pillion or the rider and any other riders in the area who are in range and matched but also other things that you'd like to whisper in your ear; sat nav or mobile phone or mp3 just so long as they are Bluetooth compatible.

Sena SPH10S Bluetooth Headset
Recently introduced for the snow sports industry, Sena's SPH10S allows skiers and snowboarders to easily attach the multifunction headset/intercom to a variety of helmets and connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to their cell phones, GPS units, mp3 players and other Bluetooth enabled devices.

Are you a safety-conscious snowboarder who also likes to have fun? Well, of course you will wear a protective helmet. And if you are looking for a way to communicate with similarly equipped friends, the SPH10S Bluetooth headset/intercom from Sena can be affixed to helmets, allowing you to alert others to snow conditions or just say, "It's time to get some chili!"

Music is often associated with experiences we have and is a trigger for remembering those good times with family and friends. This is easy to accomplish in a car but in the past to be able to share your favorite tunes with a passenger while riding was difficult to say the least. Using Sena’s newly introduced SM10 Dual Stream Transmitter not only makes this a trivial affair but also offers a whole host of benefits.

Sena SM10 Dual Stream Bluetooth Transmitter Unboxing
The SM10 is a dual stream stereo bluetooth transmitter. Wow, what a mouth-full. It allows two Bluetooth headsets to listen to the same audio source. Both rider and passenger could listen to the same music, GPS, phone, or anything else with a line out (your old Walkman tape player!).

Sena SMH10 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headsetand Intercom : Redefiningthe Artof Motorcycle Communications
The best part? After the unit is installed, there are nowires to fool around with. And since the SMH10 is installedon a helmet, as opposed to being hard-wired to a motorcycle,it can be used with as many different machines as oneowns rents or borrows. Let’s check it out.

Sena SMH5 (Page 18)
For The Editor – On A Personal note these are great for riding in groups and trying to communicate between everyone. Also allowing to make or receive a phone calls while riding. One of the impressive things about the headsets are how loud they are and how easy it is to hear.

Sena SMH10 Bluetooth Headset / Intercom
The functions offered by the Sena SMH10 are offered by several other manufacturers. What makes the Sena unique, and of special interest to me, is the availability of an optional base module that allows the use of external headphones.

Sena SMH5 Bluetooth Headset & Intercom
What really sold me on the Sena above all other systems is the easy to use, intuitive jogdial / button. No other system utilizes this feature, because Sena patented it and it’s all theirs. There are only two buttons that you ever need to use. The jogdial and the red phone button.

Against the wind - Part 2: The unexpected uses of Bluetooth for motorcycles
I recently took a motorcycle trip on a BMW k1200LT and used a Sena SMH10 Bluetooth communication device. In a word, wow! This is light years ahead of all the previous devices described. Not only can these systems communicate totally wirelessly from rider to passenger, they can be used to communicate from bike to bike.

New Sena BT Intercom Systems
Also different from other manufacturers, Sena incorporates a rocker switch on the unit that's easy to grasp with a glove for tasks such as changing the volume, skipping tracks and taking calls. While some manufacturers use buttons, locating the little buggers is not so easy. The Sena rocker switch is a move in the right direction.

Sena Sponsors MC Touring Documentary
“We are thrilled by Sena’s sponsorship and using their headset/intercom systems will make our production so much easier,” said Zach Settewongse, principal documentary filmmaker. “In fact, we did a lot of research as to how we could make our audio recordings work the way we wanted. The Sena Bluetooth products were the only ones on the market we found that have an audio out capability, and the sound quality of the headsets themselves are optimal and perfect for broadcast recording on a motorcycle.”

Sena SMH5 Intercom Review
While my opportunity with the Sena SMH5 intercom system was short, at least by my standards, everything I wanted to put them through (less an extended road trip) got done and at no time did these newest and smallest members of the Sena SMH family let me down.

And while I initially perceived the little guys as less than a "full meal deal", in reality the SMH5 systems are quite satisfying as either a primary intercom system or for augmentation purposes where intercom range is not key, but compatibility with other Sena Bluetooth intercoms or systems is.

Sena SMH10 Bluetooth Headset l Review
The world of helmet electronics is constantly improving, and one company that is clearly on the cutting edge of that technology is Sena. Sena's new SMH10 bluetooth stereo headset and intercom for motorcyclists (and skiers, snowboarders, hunters, and fishermen, for that matter) sets the bar up another notch from the competition.

Sena SMH 5 Review Part 2 - Usage
For the past couple of weeks I've been using the Sena SMH5 and I'm pleased to report that I have been very happy with the system. Remember, this is just a single unit so it's more about using it solo than with other riders with a headset.

Sena SMH5 Communicator Review
The SMH5 uses the latest Bluetooth v3.0 technology instead of the new-at-the-time v2.1 protocol installed in the SMH10 we tested in 2011. The latest SMH10 also uses v3.0, which allows faster data transfer rates. It's compatible with Bluetooth devices such as phones, GPS and music players.

Sena SMH10 Bluetooth Headset and Intercom Review
All told, we were impressed by the SMH10 range of functionality. It's a compact unit that performs many features we've come to expect from communicators. And the Bluetooth functionality just increases its range of flexibility. The two buttons are simple to use with gloved hands and the manual clearly explains how to use them.

By far the best feature of the headset was the intercom function. Just a push to the jog wheel activated communication between the two units. Sound quality is top notch, and the sensitivity of the microphone is great.
